Litorina acquires Care of Carl
Since its foundation, Care of Carl has been convinced that personalised service, dedication and interest brightens up the customer’s day. With that philosophy, the company has grown to a turnover of SEK 220 million. As the demand for Care of Carl’s carefully selected range of men’s designer clothes continues to grow, the owner, Henning Källqvist has chosen to bring in Litorina as a partner for its further development.
“Care of Carl has a very strong position in the market, but to take advantage of all the possibilities, more resources and investments are necessary. Litorina and I share this view of our current position but in particular the plan to move forward. I’m convinced that Care of Carl can reach even more customers who will discover the advantages of our personalised service, which will result in an even higher growth”, says Henning Källqvist, founder and CEO at Care of Carl.
Together, Litorina and Henning Källqvist have mapped out a clear strategy for how to grow the company in the coming years. Emphasis is on continuing an assertive expansion at the same time as staying focused on delivering the best customer experience in the market. As a step towards realising this, Mr Porter’s previous CEO, Ian Tansley, will join the board and act as adviser.
“We are very happy that Henning trusted in us to advise him in this transaction process. Care of Carl is a strong company focusing on giving their customers a personalised service. We wish Henning and Litorina great success in the continued development of the company and look forward to following their journey”, Joakim Tengzelius, partner at Valentum
