Lagercrantz Group acquires SIB
“Our family started making brushes at the end of the 19th century and I have lived with SIB since I was born”, says Caroline Droeser. Consequently, when SIB was looking for new owners, it was very important that the company ended up with the right owners. The choice fell on Lagercrantz Group, a listed company with the capability to support SIB in its future development.
SIB develops, manufactures and distributes specially-designed steel and plastic brushes for snow clearance of airports and railways, and for industrial application in the manufacturing industry. With its cassette brush system, SIB has become the market leader in the Nordics and holds a strong position in the US. A large proportion of the company’s sales stems from exports.
“Valentum has carried out a satisfactory sales process for SIB and has found a very suitable buyer, and has also actively helped us finding a good solution for both the family and the company”, says Caroline Droeser.
