Equip Capital acquires Bastard Burgers

Valentum advised the owners of Bastard Burgers on the sale to Equip Capital.

Bastard Burgers is Sweden’s fastest growing hamburger chain with 30 restaurants. The company was founded in 2016 and has experienced exceptional growth since the first restaurant opened in Luleå and now has a nationwide presence. Their burgers are highly rated by critics and their objective is to fill the market gap between fast food and fine dining.

Equip Capital acquired a majority stake in the company. The previous owners, who consist predominantly of the company’s management, will remain and continue to develop the business together with Equip.
