Advises Smedbo on its sale to SEB Private Equity

Clearwater International has advised the owners of Smedbo, a leading designer of bathrooms accessories, on its sale to SEB PE, one of the largest asset managers in the Nordics.

Founded in 1967, Smedbo is a leading designer of bathroom accessories in Northern Europe. Smedbo is rooted in Scandinavian design and its objective is to develop high-end bathroom accessories and decorative hardware. Smedbo has successfully established two brands and caters to customers all over Europe and the US.

For the last half-century, continuous product development and design advancements have given Smedbo a prominent position in the segment and established the company as the design authority of Scandinavian bathroom accessories.

The current management team will continue to operate the business in partnership with SEB PE.
